Basketball

I never remember a time in my life where I was coordinated enough to play basketball. I was an athlete, and played multiple sports, with varying degrees of success, but the one thing that I was NEVER able to do was play basketball. My brain couldn't speak that language to my body. I always felt really dumb trying to dribble. Just dribble. Once I threw running at the same time into the mix, it was a real shit show. That's probably why I never took any time to learn the game, or develop and interest in it. When my son was in elementary school, he played for his schools team, and because I had been an athlete, I was tagged to coach his team. With zero knowledge of the game. It forced me to learn the basics quickly, and the more I learned, the more I enjoyed. Not that I'm an avid fan now, but at least I can watch it and find some enjoyment in it.
